Hobby Lobby is a family owned, Christian faith oriented company, but it's not overly church-y (if that makes sense). I was hired as a temporary employee for a new store set and have worked my way up to salaried co-manager within 6 years. The store is closed on Sundays and closed daily by 8pm.Recruiter pretty lied. No room for family time. 10-12 days 5to6 days a week for little pay. Management expects you to do 30 plus yards a day with no room for a break or lunch. If you get do early management If will add on 4 or 5 stops. No communication whatsoever from management. New hires training new hires.Kohl’s is a great place to work, and it’s easy to see why. The perks are numerous : free coffee and water in the morning, flexible hours, and an environment that encourages team bonding.
