Chinese Vlad player ZuoShou (左手/Left Hand)'s setup. Hi guys so recently I saw a post asking about CN/KR vlads and someone mentioned ZuoShou a challenger CN vlad main. I haven't heard of him before so I decided to take a look. My Chinese is not that great but I was able to understand the gist of what he said when he was talking about runes ...I don't really main any other champs in midlane nor do I find any other midlane champs fun. The only champ I have played in the past is Zed. And while Zed is kinda good into Vlad he is a really difficult champ and kinda meh atm so Im not confident picking him into Vlad. Since if he wins lane I will just solo lose the game that way.Vlad is very viable in aram if your team can hold out through the early game. I try to play him safe, similar to an adc, early game until 1-2 completed items then you can start going aggressive. Early he feels kinda weak imo, but landing a nice ult with good followup dmg is nice.Add wukong. I played wu against vlad and he had a rly hard time against my 8sec gapcloser and grievous wounds from executioners. I even dived a vlad, something hard. Top vlad has actually two possibilities in the top lane: either too easy matchups or too hard (based on enemy's skill and, mostly, champion). Mid is more skill based.

There are alot of tools for early game comps to win with. A team built purely around the early game could have gotten both heralds and 2 dragons by the 20 min mark, which puts you at a severe disadvantage in mid-game. If you can make late game, Vlad is 1v9. Vlad has easy objective control with his disgusting AoE so try and setp up drakes or Herald with Jungle. Vlad did not crutch on Wota it was his main item because it was so good on him period. You could take spell vamp runes and masteries which gave you a flat 6% at the start of the game lol. Which was a very common Vlad setup.
