Long Answer: The main differences in the tanks is their mitigation tool set. DRK relies on The Blackest Night and Magical DMG mitigation abilities. WAR has great self healing paired with its DMG. GNB is currently the highest DPS tank and has a unique healing over time ability.

Way I understand stats goes as follow: Tenacity increases your damage and damage mitigation as a tank. Direct hit slightly increases periodical damage and healing you deal. Critical hit increases crit amount and chance. Determination increases overall damage, healing and healing received.
