Tuckys bettas.
Previous Betta was super aggressive and did a ton of flaring. Current Betta is super chill. He lives in a 10 gallon planted with 2 mystery snails. He has never attacked them or even flared at them. Worst he will do is boop them off the glass if they get too close to his floating log/ and frogbit bubble nest.

Biofilm is fine. Cycling the tank properly is how to make it safe and deal with the cloudiness. You really need a test kit to do that (and ammonia). It takes a few weeks to do, though, so I'd suggest following the fish in cycle guide from the sub's 'about' section instead, but you still need a test kit for that. GxxgleChrxm101 • 1 min. ago.

I tested the water last night (18 hours ago, I am in Australia). Ammonia: 0ppm. Nitrite: 0ppm. Nitrate: 5-10ppm. pH: 7.2. GH: 107.4ppm. I keep my tank 26-28 Celcius (I have thermometers at either end, the one near the heater is 28, the other end is 26). The current population: 7 danios (3 zebra, 2 leopard, 2 pearl)
