I might be late but early hardmode sanguine stuff goles better with firecracker, but when you get durendal and ichor flasks, blade staff does waay more, and in multi-player is even better, blade staff won't prock i-frames on bosses, so your friends can do full damage, also smol knife melts mourning wood, wich you need for the armor and scrolls.
