The Agriculturist faster growth time only applies to whomever has that profession chosen, so they should do all the planting. Artisan applies to both, no matter who chose it, it applies to all artisan goods sold. Agreed. Pet and feed animals daily and they get there fast enough. I find Tiller to Artisan best if you plan on selling Jelly/Wine/Truffle Oil and other artisan goods, Tiller to Agriculturist if you want faster growing crops. Definitely go for Botanist in foraging.
