Here’s the thing though, that’s the only dragon I’ve checked where the fang is better, by .4 dps. Dhl is better at vork and hydra as well as other dragons. My point was i don’t think it’s worth selling dhl to get the fang because odds are you’ll use the lance more than the fang.

Fang is for bossing, end game content where def levels are high. Whip and rapier are lower tick weapons so when def isn't a huge factor they will always out dps the fang, some people seem to push this weird "fang is best" argument, specifically for slayer, I don't understand why when you can easily use a dps calc to check and confirm it simply isn't the case.

Lance is way better in my experience. Fang does not replace lance anywhere it was used before other than no hammer CM olm if you wanna get stupid sweaty with world scythe.
