Dawnbreaker has been beyond broken for nearly two years. First it scaled with spell pen despite being physical damage, then they fixed that and made it 100% dodgeable by evasion and roll for a couple patches, then they fixed that and the "flashbang" bug was introduced to the game (animation cancel causing ult to disappear before damage registeres) which they have still yet to acknowledge.

Dawnbreaker of smiting has been doing damage to my nightblades when I do not see it to react in time. Here is a screenshot from today. I didn't see this dawnbreaker coming, so I didn't roll dodge away; sometimes I manage to avoid it. The stun was effective as well. HOWEVER, when I slotted this, my weapon damage stays at 208 when my bow is equipped and at 220 when my daggers are equipped. when i use charging maneuver (which has a weapon power increase), weapon damage on my character screen increases to 245 ...Having a cast time on an ultimate actually gives your opponent a chance to react to it, i.e. block. you can rolldodge dawnbreaker and onslaught even before the changes. It feels clunky and awkward now. It's not that its less strong thats the problem its the fact it feels horrible. meteor you can switch cancel, block cancell and roll cancel. dawnbreaker and onslaught just feels awful. Tbh I did nit learn to land this ultimate in pvp for about 3 weeks first time I used it. Warden spore I think has almost the same shaped cone, you can check with that. Also a boss in DSA 1st stage has a red aoe of dawnbreaker to double check. For PvP players almost exclusively go with CC morph, and that is understandable knowing that CC is king of PvP. It cost less than meteor, but you need to be pretty close to your target to use it. OP, just in case it hadn't been made clear yet by others' comments, XP scrolls and pots do not help you to unlock Dawnbreaker. The scrolls & pots are specifically to buff XP, and the FG skill tree is leveled not at all by any XP earnings, but instead by killing Daedra, and possibly from other FG related activities, I can't remember for sure.jjurgella Dec 23, 2021 @ 3:14pm. Dont know if this is always but i had it today. I have it on my video recordings. Occured today in CP IC EU.Bad change, they say they want to balance stamina and Magicka, yet with the change to slayer also, Magicka users don't get the extra SD when fighting undead anymore, it just increase WD.
