Engineering is hard. Many employers in this field probably expect a fail or two. Just be sure not to fail too many classes. If your school, like mine, only offers engineering courses (at lease Chem Eng) 1/year, rather than 1/semester, then it can make you tank longer, but it won't hurt you after school.
