Just got some goodies in the mail and though I'd post some comparison pics of a 507K next to an RMRcc. Initial impressions are: Tint is much less annoying on the 507K. For a given (perceived) brightness match, the RMR cc dot is a little sharper to my eyes (and I have slight astigmatism in my dominant eye) (2MOA for Holosun vs 3.5MOA on RMR cc).

May 24, 2020 · Help me decide between the RMR or the Holosun 508T V2. I like that the RMR is proven and bombproof. The Holosun solves some issues that I have for with the RMR: deep blue tint, slightly smaller window, battery under optic vs side load on Holosun, fish eye on RMR. Really, the only thing holding me back on the Holosun is the brand and Chinese origin. The main difference between the Holosun 507c and the 508t is that the 508t has a Titanium housing while the 507c has an Aluminum one. This housing makes the 508t more durable than the 507c. Also, 508t is slightly more compact but heavier than the 507c. Lastly, the 507c is 55-60 dollars less expensive than the 508t.

The Holosun 509T has a noticeable blue tint throughout the entire window; the Aimpoint Acro P-1 appears as a gradient — more blue on top and less on the bottom. The 509T is a little bit wider in the FOV with the Acro a little taller. If you can get a P2, it isn't a bad choice. The 509T seems to be able to hold its own. Go Noles! As another has said, holosun just announced a few new enclosed optics that use the RMR cut (same as their other optics).
Last, you can actually get the 508T with either a red reticle or a green reticle. The model number for the red reticle is the HE508T-RD and the green reticle is the HE508T-GR… Personally, I prefer red on my sights and optics, but there are a lot of people who really like the green option. I find the RMRs window more useable because of the movement from a pistol. I don't need a slight gain in side to side and prefer the taller window of the RMR.
