One test you might try is to remove the electrical connector from the passenger side blend actuator, then change some settings and see if the clicking returns. WCL Discussion starter · Feb 11, 2013. When I turn my engine off or open the doors on my 2008 Impala SS, a clicking noise starts under the dash around my glove box and then after a minute or two it quits. It does not seem to do it when the engine is running. I can't figure out what it is.
