West Virginia fifth-year senior Erik Stevenson has been fully cleared by the NCAA to participate in the 2022-23 season, as first reported by CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein. Stevenson has one year of eligibility left. “First and foremost, Erik is a tremendous competitor,” WVU head coach Bob Huggins said in April.
In November, Stevenson dropped 16 points on 7-for-12 shooting in the Mountaineers’ blowout victory over Pitt by a score of 81-56. West Virginia is currently 15-11 (4-9 Big 12) , while the Panthers are 19-7 (12-3 ACC).
