Can anyone recommend me the settings for playing BOTW on yuzu emulator? I'm getting 20fps and below on default settings (Vulkan, GPU High, No AA). But I'm seeing videos of people able to run BOTW at 30fps or higher. My GPD Win Max 2021 is using the Iris Xe Graphics. I refer to CEMU, a Wii U emulator. The switch emulator is Yuzu but it is just an experimental emulator. Some games like Smash Ultimate wont even boot on Yuzu and BOTW will only get to the title screen and then crash. CEMU BOTW wii u version can emulate BOTW at perfection and even with better performance than the original wii u and switch

Cemu, with lower res + FSR, no draw distance mod, no Second Wind and it's very stable. Prob would work at 40 with Second Wind. EDIT: But at 40 - don't think it can work stable at 60 on Steam Deck. Yes the performance mods on cemu actually make the game look and run better than it ever did on switch, and it currently can on Yuzu. You may be able to get a performance you prefer on yuzu; but objectively with the tools cemu gives you, BOTW plays close to a pc port with multiple optimisation settings and improvements. 60 fps in 4k? Yes please.

You need the regular 30 fps mod with the dynamic resolution mod. This will allow the game to run normal speed even when it starts to dip and will allow fps to fluctuate normally rather than lock itself to 20 when it can't reach 30. It was very smooth in my hardware, with only a few drops below 60, but with steady frame times. You can check the frame times using afterburner. (I recommend displaying the frame time graph, if there is a lot of variation, it doesn't feel smooth).

Setup your game directory (where you have your ToTK rom) and make sure Yuzu recognizes the game. In Yuzu select ToTK, go to Files in the top left corner - Install to NAND and select your 1.1 update file. In Yuzu select ToTK -> Properties -> Enable all mods and 1.1 update.

Neither the 60 FPS patch nor the patch that unlinks FPS from game speed require a pirated copy of the game.
