My credit rating is not the best but Verve gave me a $500 limit to start and then bumped that to $1000 after only six months of on-time payments. The customer service is excellent. If there is any downside, it is that after a year Verve has an annual fee plus a $10 per month service fee.You can only apply for the Verve Credit Card if you've received a pre-approved offer in the mail. More specifically, you can apply either online or over the phone at (866) 449-4514 with the reservation number included in your pre-approved offer. Just keep in mind that being pre-approved for the Verve Credit Card doesn't guarantee approval.

They earned their bad review by having a phone payment line that is a joke and a customer service dept. that is dishonest. The whole company reeks of predatory scum.
