I read all of Stephen King (Salem's Lot) and Dean Koontz (Phantoms) books. Peter Straub (Ghost), Dan Simmons (Summer of Night) they're okay but not some of my favorite. I decided to give other horror authors a chance and found a few I actually enjoyed.

The most terrifying night I have ever experienced was when my mother n law bought me a night vision scope for Christmas. We had a lot of deer that would come through the backyard. I shut off all of the lights in the house and opened up the back door hoping to see a deer.
