Late response but impid tribals are your best friends, if a cannibal. The fire stuff is easy to handle in the mid-game. They don't do drop pod attacks. They have weak weapons. They don't breach. With a good killbox, impids are free food and hats. Just keep launching toxic waste packs at them to trigger raids.
