Yeah. Black chinning the minion and splashing the boss is enough kills/hr difference that it's worth doing if you're a main or an iron training hunter above 71. If you're broke but have bowfa then it's completely viable. If you're an iron and aren't really planning on grinding ava that much then yeah it's totally fine.
