So I've been farming the night hawkin for a new zane char. I've done about 100 runs, and only managed to spawn the demoskaggons about 18 times. I'm playing on normal with no mayhem modes. I'm pretty sure that drop rates is not increased whether you're in normal, thvm, or mayhem. I think it's special attribute is based on day and night in game. I think there is a version that switches between elements depending on the time of day. And if you have the arctic pre-fixed one it will switch between firing 1 and 3 bullets at a time for the cost of 1 ammo depending on whether it's day and night.
