The pop up I got was the "good" pop-up saying "our records indicate you're already registered for this exam" - it automatically declines you to register to take the NCLEX again since you've already passed. My understanding is if it says the card information is incorrect, the website is allowing you to register to write the NCLEX again.

The PVT is not 100% accurate. There have been some reports of getting a “bad pop-up” or “false result”. However, it is a fairly good indicator to what a student’s result actually is.

Rarely, people get the bad pop-up and actually have passed, but you will never get the good pop-up if you failed. The trick only works if you do it after getting the Pearsonvue email after your NCLEX.

So, unfortunately, if you tried it again later and it accepted your money, that likely means you didn't pass.
