In both cases, the 80% LO mods were much smoother/consistent, firmer and more stable backwall, and much easier let down. Letting down the 85% LO felt like it would try to yank my shoulder/arm forward, versus 80% is much more gradual and controlled.

I’m a 29 inch draw so anytime I run the 85% I swap to a half inch shorter mod and when I run 80% I run 29 inch mods. Hope that helps you out.From experience I would say this is pretty spot on. Anything over 29" feels a little long and anything under 28.5 feels short. The current VXR 31.5 has 29" mods and measures 29 1/4" with draw stops just touching on my draw board. 6 twist in string got it to 29" and I lost 1 pound of Draw weight.

Allright, so the V3X 33 with C mod is supposed to be 30.5" IF the DL actually measures out to 29.5", something is seriously off with the bow, string would need to be way too short.
