Jun 29, 2019 · thrill of the hunt imo is just a discount haunted grounds. they both exist to divert survivors from the other hex perks and punish survivors for cleansing hex perks. imagine wasting time cleansing a hex totem with a slower speed and also risking urself getting found by the killer while you're cleansing and after you've cleansed the totem. Thrill of the hunt shouldn't be a hex perk. The whole idea of them is that it makes the killer really strong and forces the survivors to break the totem. But thrill of the hunt just helps you get more hunting points. If they made it a regular perk, made it apply toaall point categories, and buffed the bonus to them, it would be a very viable farming perk.As someone who has only been playing the doctor since he got first released, I have noticed that on the overwhelming majority of my games I am entirely unable to defend my totems since the recent changes to the perk, which would be fine if the totems would stay up for at least quite a long while, but even that's not the case.
