Before you jump into joining a bootcamp, I say you should definitely take advantage of the free resources out there and maybe even a couple of $15 JavaScript/full stack Udemy courses. Bootcamps are expensive and you also have to be prepared to be unemployed for 9-12 months. 2.My advice would be to check out some of the free resources that boot camps provide so you can get a feel for the school. CodeSmith has some really awesome ones with lectures you can sit into. I thought the App Academy 2 week Jumpstart had an amazing introduction to the Ruby language and solving algorithms.

You won't be hand held for job search and it might get brutal depending on your luck/data structures and algo knowledge. Expect to continue learning and practicing for interviews after bootcamp ends.
