RamboRusina (Banned) Jul 21, 2022 @ 3:21am. Your base start is 100% regression. CoB adds +100% to it making it 200%. Overcharge reduces 25% making it 175%. The way I see it is that Call of Brine has less regression but offers more consistent regression while Overcharge offers much better regression but isn't guaranteed to hit that point. Also Call of Brine does give noise notifications as well so I think there's valid reasons to run one over the other (Assuming they don't stack)

Call of Brine: Only applies to one gen at a time. This makes it harder to just regress 3 different gens at once. It wouldn't really interfere with most gameplay really. Survivors can still tap the gen and what not. You just have to make a conscious choice on if you want one gen to regress more, or you want to regress this one faster. Basically just makes the perk …

400% regression is the same speed as 1 survivor repairing a gen. It's not that fast. Yes but Ruin is automatic and doesn't require any action from the killer's part. It also forces survivors to cleanse the totem. Overcharge requires kicking a gen, takes 30 seconds for the full effect and can be stopped by survivors repairing it for a split second. The other way to look at it would be that Eruption is above the power curve, Call of Brine is at the curve, and all those other perks are below the power curve.
