Prostar · #173 · Aug 7, 2020. There seems to be some discussion about the pricing of the Prostar in the US compared to the UK and wanted to address that issue. The model that is sold in the US is not the same specifications as the model in the UK. The UK model is basically a game gun configuration.

Jan 12, 2022 · There are several versions of screw in chokes for the Yildiz models. The ProStar chokes are NOT the same as other Y 12 gauge offerings. I am obliged to say as well that the cheaper Y gun offerings are nowhere near the quality of the Pro series. Seems impossible to locate and purchase factory Yildiz pro chokes. Pricing starts at $7750.00 for standard silver or black action, and goes up to $10750.00 for the deluxe model which has an engraved action and hard leather case. Be gentle. Everything should stay in place if the gun is cocked. If it is, the firing pins springs put enough tension on the firing pins which press against the firing pin retaining pin. If the hammers are down then the tension is taken up and the retaining pin is loose and can fall out the left side of the action.
