So you’ve got all 3 robes, boots, hats, wands, and on top of that he can drop a deck, amulet, and athame (although those are only tier 3 and 2. Alright so I have completed Darkmoor 10 times so far on my fire wizard and have yet to earn any of the top tier malistaire items. I have also yet to receive an amulet, a top tier athame and ring, or malistaire's staff. Darkmoor/Gauntlet gear is definitely not needed, but it can certainly help. However, the Gauntlet gear is way worse than what Malistaire drops, so Wizards should probably get the Malistaire Flux gear lol.
