To be fair I don't think the obsidian tools are worth the trouble you have to go through to make them. Having to use the volcanic forge to get the composite obsidian is just a big pain in the arse. Best tool you can craft by far is the star metal pick axe - having said that getting star metal can also be a pain in the arse.We could even make the tools right there at home. Now you might as well have to forge obsidian tools at the volcano, just like the weapons and shield, because you can't even make composite obsidian ingots outside of the volcanic forge. I could not believe this.
