Mar 5, 2011. #14. I have a 36 gallon bowfront that I purchased at PetSmart and like others have said, there are areas that are perforated so they can be cut out for hoses or a filter. I have a cannister filter so I only have two hoses going thru the hood. I have to say that my biggest challange was finding a stand for it.Yea, I can’t find any info on the original light for some reason. I’m not too sure on the specs. They also originally had one that was a fluorescent light that could detach from the hood. That’s the one I had and could grow easy plants with it.
