Stanford REA admit here! My advice is literally just don't overthink it. I hated the prompt and my sentiment was that I was confident enough with my app that I knew wouldn't be getting accepted/rejected based off of that one supplemental. I personally really don't like the overwritten, cringey roommate essays I've read.
