So you would save a year or two of time! I think the cost for the MPH part is about $8,500 or so per year (so about $35,000 in total).Word is leaking out from reputable sources that Stanford Hospital's Inpatient Rehab Unit is being eliminated from the hospital. I've been accepted into both Stanford and UCLA. However, I was offered the David Geffen Scholarship at UCLA so I would graduate with zero debt. I would still get some financial aid from Stanford, but not a full ride. It's a really tough decision and I'd like to hear people's thoughts on it.Full tuition at Harvard would still mean ~80 - 120k in loans for cost of living (depending on how frugal you are), and that can really add up with interests. Going into residency with no loans sounds amazing IMHO. From Stanford you will have no trouble matching back in the east coast or if in the west if you choose to.

Caltech is very engineering based compared to Stanford. However Stanford is elite and great overall. For pre-med unless im pursuing a physics/engineering major, i would go to Stanford only because they probably have a little better advantage/resources for there pre-med students. I would imagine there are more pre-meds at stanford than caltech
