This is a well-preserved cast of the battered and partial head of the Nike of Paionios. Preserved of the head in the original, as here, are the ears of the goddess, some of her wavy hair, and part of the headband she wears. The face and neck are missing in the original. A metal bar at the bottom of the head was meant for attachment to the torso.
