Oh, don't get me wrong. I totally enjoyed noobtown, am going to get this new book, and I do recommend the other guy takes a look at it. But the Wandering Inn is way better written and way more serious. I hate to admit it, but a lot of the noobtown characters can come off as 2 dinmential and flat. They talk about there professional goals etc. It is really well done and feels like an adult relationship. In books 5-8 the relationship is gone because they separated working on different quest chains. And still good books but not as good.The author kept me engaged with the story and the pace of the book was good. The MC is starting to learn how the world works and will develop into a truly OP character in time. The secondary characters are not very interesting yet so that was why I have the book a 4 instead of a 5. Overall I enjoyed it and look forward to reading the next book.
