Yea DSC is probably one of the hardest majors at ucsd imo. I'm currently a CS major at a community college. I enjoy learning CS but I've realized that CS is a very competitive major to transfer with. For instance, UCLA took 1.2% of CS transfer applicants in 2013. On the other hand, UCLA took 55% of Applied Math transfer applicants in 2013.
