Here in this very forum numerous people have had the advantage of free advice and product returns or suggestions of alternatives ...And if you want to continue with the fun of customizing Lakeline LLC has ported barrels to aid with the recoil for both. And as far as other handguns options if you can spend more a little more money I recommend Canik elite SC they are fantastic for their price they usually go from $350-400 I’ve seen as low as $320 from Dahlonega Armory email ...

Since I have another barrel now though, I am going to polish and/or sand down that edge on the feed ramp and see if that helps. Seems to be the only thing that people say works.

Polishing the feed ramp fixed the jhp feed issue. I have the stock barrel, gold Taurus barrel, gold ported Lakeline barrel and I polished all three of them.
