I just recently built a Plague Kripath with the Seekalla and Vargeet II Jai. It might not be as good as a rivened Zaw. But the damage it can pull with Exodia Contagion is insane, I was hitting 64 million orange crits on direct hits with corpus enemies. Bear in mind I have a scuffed heavy attack build with a bunch of unmaxed mods.

I believe they got minor buffs in damage numbers to compensate for the Condition Overload nerf. At the same time most other weapons just got overall better stats. A major help for Zaws would be to give them a 2.0x crit multiplier that increaeses to 2.2x upon gilding them. The Plague Kripath should then become 2.2x ungilded and 2.4x gilded.
