Picked up 300SM back in June and right away ordered a hub, spokes, and 19" Excel rim for the front. Mounted up a 110/80-19 TKC80. Currently, I have a rear 300SM wheel assembly on order. The 130/80-17 TKC80 has already arrived. No plans to swap the front fender. Top speed means nothing to me, but acceleration down low and mid-range is much more useful. Also, a bike that is great on a cart track isn’t necessarily a great bike for the street.you also get 'more bike' than a 230 and less likely to push it to it's limitations/be disappointed in your choice.
