A more appreciable difference between the two is the weight. The Kel Tec tips the scales at 4.25 lbs, whereas Ruger’s carbine is substantially heavier at 6.8 lbs. Neither carbine is exceptionally heavy, but the Kel-Tec weighs less and has a more centralized point of balance.
