The fume straight sword is much stronger than fugs unless you're very competent with fugs tech. Fugs without tech is low tier in PvP. You're better off using the fume ss with another top tier offhand like a rapier, dagger, spear, Lance etc. There's no real weapon synergy between a ugs and straight sword.
