Hey all, I've created a guided walkthrough for the Factorio Speedrun - Steelaxe %. This is my first attempt at a video guide, and I've created it as the only others guides that exist are now outdated (over 2 years old!) and on older versions of the game. I hope this helps some newer players find their way to completing a Speedrun in Factorio. 5.
EDIT: to be clear, if you are practicing your speedrun techniques, using saves or pre made blueprints is fine - you’re just trying to be able to replicate conditions for you to practice with. There is nothing unethical about that. This project is a Tool-Assisted Speedrun (TAS) mod for the Factorio PC game by Wube Software LTD. The included scripts perform a complete Any% speedrun (single player launches a rocket using a generated map and vanilla game rules, without other mods).
