So me being at 1 hp is meaningless in terms of what my actual "real" hp value is at (you'll see my life gets reserved at certain points in the video, see 100% deli map) There are plenty of icons with grey borders that are not buffs, like Occultist's Vile Bastion for example. I'm running an Icicle Mines build with Rathpith's Globe, Dissolution of the Flesh and Petrified Blood, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to stop the PB degen from insta-killing me - every time I take anything resembling a big hit the degen instantly kills me.

Getting 30% Life recoup and a 21/20 Petrified Blood basically voided 40% of the hit damage you took by counteracting and perfectly matching the life loss from damage taken over time effect with life recouped.And more such silly statements. If you want to build around Dissolution of the Flesh, get evasion, Acrobatics, elusive, block and spell block, and play a ranged build. It's certainly not BiS for most builds and 2 seconds is a little long, but that doesn't mean it's impossible to build or play around it. You just need to actually put some effort ...
