Ok, the front seats in my 78 camaro were trashed, so I bought a set of front seats from a 95 camaro. Now that I have gotten them and had a chance to test fit them, I noticed that the holes in the seats and the holes in the floor did not line up. I have tryed switching the seat rails with the origional ones from the old seats and the did not match.To hold the rear backrest in place I made 4 brackets. The top 2 brackets have a latching mechanism that the seats fold back onto. The lower 2 brackets are just custom made and the hinges for the seats bolt right into it. 11.
