On my undergrad campus (not Illinois), NSCS was more something you paid for to just put on your resume and Tau Sigma functioned more like an active RSO. Not sure how it works here. Although when I was an officer in NSCS, they did pay for me to go to their annual leadership conference in Austin one summer which was cool.This is the only certifying agencies for college honor societies in the U.S., and their standards are pretty high.
