Jan 29, 2021 · In the BRN there is very little room. I decided to copy a mod I saw someone do on a Gen 1 Ks47. Drill and tap holes for two socket head cap screws to go through the sides of receiver. Then mill a small amount off the bottom side of those bolts until the mag was a tight fit. The Ks47 Gen2 resolves this by adding material to the inside of the upper.

I’m sure the 47 lower they have is a larger magwell than a 5.45 mag. I’ll check and let you know.that would have me buying them instead of the standard upper that PSA offers. That said however, i do want to get the authentic KS47 upper receiver and barrel so im decided im going to buy a PSA upper complete at this point in time, unless psa decides in the near future to go ahead and sell the upper receivers for the KS47 stripped.

An update on our KS47. To make the KS47 more price competitive, we changed the upper and lower receiver from billet to forged. They will be available again in 60-90 days. We will have a new pistol version and other variants coming out in the near future. Thank you, Josiah. Thanks for the heads up.

I have the enhanced firing pin AND the XP hammer spring.
