My two choices rn are a ripcord industries ldr1 rail and upper. I'm a big fan of the rail, the upper is just a milspec upper tho. And I can't combine the rail with a different upper because of the anti roll pin hole in the upper. My one qualm about the ripcord rail is the weight of it. My second choice is a MUR rail with an URX 4. The Ripcord uses a relatively long (2.18") barrel nut, they are beefy (17.4oz installed weight for the 13.13" rail tested), and the LDR1 has a solid section in the middle of the handguard that lacks mlok slots. I'm in no way shocked that this drastically outperformed the Aero R-one that clocks in at an installed weight of 9.9oz
