Bombs per day are limited. vivisectionist adds sneak attack, normally in melee, and not against ghosts, can't change energy type. Sneak attacks are not limited per day. Unlike Rogue I believe Vivisectionist are often built with 2 handers in mind over dual wielding. Rogues get a lot of feats to support TWF but Vivisectionist are usually strength based over dex and don't get the sort of bonus feat support rogues get.
