Kindle PaperWhite stuck on low power mode screen. I have had my kindle paperwhite for 6 months. The other day, I had it with me by the lake. It was in its case in what I thought was a shaded part of a table out of direct sunlight. That night, I was reading before bed and the battery drained from 79% to 3% in 30 seconds.
Things I’ve tried: Hold power slider 20s, followed by home button 60s. Nothing shows, screen remains unchanged. Hold power slider 60s, no change. Plug power in, hold power slider . No change.
