So it seems like I’ve done something dumb. I attached my ecobee to the backplate before screwing the backplate into the wall. Was planning on checking everything out and then taking the front off and screwing it all in. I assumed there was an easy way to release it. But now I can’t for the life of me remove it from the backplate.
