Come on man. I'm a noob, not an idiot. I don't think I managed to create perfect baffle clipping with a baffle strike. I do think, in retrospect, that a cutting tool failed. Stainless is a shitty material to machine and gummy as fuck.It tears up tooling quick like.
Not a baffle strike Might be some jacket separation causing that nick in the bast baffle. Suppressors are essentially cantilevered. If you had a concentricity or stabilization issue, you'll see the most damage at the business end. I don't see that from the pictures. All good, keep shooting
Still, this shouldn't be an issue. One of my SiCo cans (Omega 300) has been rotated regularly between 7 rifles and counting, after thousands of rounds, and still no baffle strike. Installed a JP large profile compensator and had the same result. Cycling was a non-issue. Removed the Delta P adapter and installed the original SOCOM muzzle brake and no issues whatsoever.
