Abyss jewels are mainly great for flat elemental dmg stacking and with their high droprate also a good source of life. On top those onslaught, blind etc rolls are pretty nice as a one off. On the flipside i played a few builds where abyss jewels were shit. Scorching ray shenanigans benefit barely from em dmg wise.
