For an 11.5" shooting a 55gr, you're going to lose the hydrostatic shock capability of the bullet at *about* 200 yards. Bullet will be transonic at about 500-550 yards. For an 11.5" shooting a 77gr - you'll get a lot more energy carried out further, and the bullet won't go transonic until about 700 yards.
