The game design doesn't really work at higher difficulty and ruins the pacing. Frustrating areas with bullet-sponge enemies really sap away your enjoyment and pull you out of the Nazi-killing immersion. What I did to fix it was go into the paradox interactive files on my computer and I deleted the entire HOI4 folder (I was told deleting the mod files for the game would be enough but I couldn’t load the mod until after deleting the whole game folder.)
